South Carolina Gamecocks continues century-old tradition
COLUMBIA, S.C. (NBC) - The South Carolina gamecocks continued a century-old tradition Monday in their rivalry with the Clemson tigers.
Overall, the annual pep rally is a long-running tradition that occurs the week of the Carolina-Clemson game.
The Gamecocks set fire to a 32-point-five foot tiger.
Furthermore, members of the USC football team, staff, and fans were in attendance.
Students from the American Society of Mechanical Engineer built the tiger with input from fellow students on the design.
Moreover, updates to the tiger this year include changes to the face with a more rounded shape and the angle of the ears.
