Trump Org. criminal trial starts on Monday
(CNN) - The Trump Organization will to go on trial Monday for alleged tax crimes.
Former President Donald Trump's longtime chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, is to be the star witness.
In August, Weisselberg pleaded guilty to 15 counts connected to an alleged tax fraud scheme within the Trump Organization.
Not only that, as part of his plea agreement, he has to testify.
However, he may be able to avoid discussing Trump directly.
Instead of facing 15 years in prison, the 75-year-old Weisselberg agreed a sentence of five months in jail if he cooperated.
Jury selection begins Monday in Manhattan's New York State Supreme Court.
