Sam’s Club membership increases

(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - The price of a Sam's club membership is increasing for the first time in 9 years.

The CEO of Sam's Club says members will see a jump from 45 dollars to 50 dollars a year.

Premium members will pay 110 dollars or an extra ten bucks per year, which gets them extended shopping hours and other perks.

The price change is effective October 17.
