14-year-old “Snapchatted” friends saying she was kidnapped
SAN JOSE, Calif. (KYMA, KECY)- Three men are arrested after drugging, kidnapping, and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old, San Jose police said.
Fox 10 News reports the girl "snapchatted" her friends on Tuesday saying she was taken by three men and didn't know where she was.
Her friends then used Snapchat's location service to locate the 14-year-old and called 911.
Police were able to track down the teen, reports said she was found in a motel.
Thomas Vazquez, the man who allegedly kidnapped the teen was arrested on kidnapping, false imprisonment, and rape by intoxication charges.
Detectives said Vazquez met the teen earlier that day and gave her drugs that knocked her out.
Sources said two other men Antonio Quirino Salvador and Hediberto Gonzalez Avarenga were arrested for helping Vazquez.
Both men were also taken into custody on kidnapping and conspiracy charges.
