Mobile home fire contained near Foothills
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A mobile home fire burning near the Fortuna Foothills required aid from both Rural Metro Fire Department (RMFD) and Yuma Fire Department (YFD) on Saturday afternoon.
The double-wide mobile home fire was off of Interstate 8 on E. Saddle Drive and S. Clementine Avenue.
Dispatch received a call around 12:45 p.m. about the fire.
RMFD reported one minor injury but did not have to transport them to the hospital.
Battalion Chief Jeff Woodruff of Rural Metro Fire says the fire has been cleared.
In the meantime, RMFD is putting out any hotspots within the residence.
The cause of the fire is still to be determined through further investigation.
