Two officers found murdered in San Luis Rio Colorado

SAN LUIS RÍO COLORADO (KYMA, KECY) - Two officers from the Traffic Team have been murdered in San Luis.

The Municipal Public Security Directorate says the incident happened at about 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19 near 36th Street and Mérida Avenue.

Reports say two vehicles were seen around the area at the time of the attacks and a suspect allegedly shot at the victims multiple times.

Mayor of San Luis Río Colorado Santos González Yescas made a statement sending condolences to those affected.

No suspects have been arrested.
