Traffic stop leads to police pursuit, runaway suspect found

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - YCSO says an anonymous tip came in just after 6:30 a.m. about a possible sighting of 34-year-old Eric Granville in a car near the 8 freeway and Fortuna Road.
Deputies located the vehicle and made contact at the chevron on Frontage Road.
The Sheriff's office says Granville was hiding under blankets in the back of the car.
Granville is now in custody and is expected to appear in court in the coming week.
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 white Cadillac CTS and once police turned on their emergency red and blue lights, the car drove off.
The traffic incident happened on Thursday, April 14, around 2:41 p.m., northbound on Fortuna Road on the overpass of Interstate 8.
Upon fleeing, the Cadillac struck multiple cars.
After so many hits, the Cadillac stopped working and two suspects fled on foot.
No injuries were reported of those who were hit.
Richard Trujillo, 31, of Yuma, Ariz. is one of the suspects and was detained with the help of community members.
According to YCSO, Trujillo was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center for unlawful use of means of transportation, burglary, criminal damage, leaving the scene of an accident and displaying false license plates.
YCSO says the other suspect, Eric Granville, 34, of Yuma, Ariz. has not been located.
Granville is described as a white male, about 6'2" tall and weighs about 166 lbs.
YCSO recommends the public to not go near Granville as he might be armed and dangerous.
The sheriff's office is accepting any information from the public on the whereabouts of Granville.
The case remains under investigation.
