Molina Health care joins Pioneers Memorial and others to host free baby shower

Molina Healthcare along with Pioneers Memorial and others, hosted a free baby shower at the El Centro Community Center. Close to 100 expecting mothers received tote bags, filled up with some of the essentials needed to take care of a newborn baby. Other necessities including diapers, strollers and carseats were raffled off

“If we have the ability of getting these items and bringing them to a community the expression has been made. There’s a huge need. We’re thrilled to be here today. To provide these items to the community. The Imperial County,” said Alexandra Bravo, Community Engagement Manager for Molina Healthcare.

The purpose of the event was to create an awareness for prenatal and postnatal health. And to educate expecting mothers to make healthy choices for their newborn.
