Tesla is moving forward with the development of its 'autopilot' self-driving vehicles

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - Tesla will be moving forward with 'autopilot' self-driving vehicles despite a recent deadly crash in Texas that involved a Tesla with a driverless system.

CEO, Elon Musk said a new advanced version of the autopilot system would roll-out in about a month.

There have been other incidents with the self-driving cars, including the arrest of a California man riding in the backseat of a driverless tesla.
