StoryCorps is coming to Yuma to hear your story

StoryCorp has been traveling around the United States for the past twelve years recording conversations between two people– and they’re coming to Yuma!

StoryCorp will be here from November 19, to December 21, in search of people with stories to tell. If you and another person have a story or shared experience, this opportunity is for you.

They travel with their own mobile recording studio, converted from a vintage camper, traveling to ten cities a year, recording five conversations a day. Now, their path leads to our corner of Arizona.

StoryCorp is especially interested in stories that aren’t normally heard, as well as unique relationships. You can talk about anything you want– as long as it’s a real conversation.

They would like the two people to really know each other, whether you be good friends, co-workers, family members, or anyone else.

Check out past stories that have been told on storycorps.org.
