Fire crews battle a fast-moving wildfire in Riverside County

Fire crews in Riverside County, California battle to keep a fast-moving wildfire from destroying homes.

The 100-acre blaze erupted Saturday near San Jacinto.

It’s already forced more than 200 people to evacuate a nearby subdivision. Officials have set up an emergency shelter for them in a local high school.

The more than 200 firefighters on scene are focused on protecting those homes, but at this point they have no containment.

So far there are no reports of injury or death connected to the wildfire.
