Thieves hold 2 people at gunpoint in San Luis RCS

A woman is shot during a violent robbery in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico, Thursday.

The Tribuna de San Luis reports a group of armed robbers surrounded a car near Avenida Nayarit and Calle 39, Colonia Campestre .

They held a male driver and a female passenger at gunpoint.

When the woman screamed for help and tried to get away, one of the robbers shot her in the leg.

The suspects then threw the driver out of the car, and took off in the vehicle.

Paramedics took the passenger to the hospital. The driver wasn’t hurt.

Police have found neither the car, nor the suspects.
