Level 3 sex offender changes address
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) is notifying the community that David Wayne Vanderveer is now residing at 12332 E. 36th Way in Yuma, Ariz. 85367.
According to YCSO, he is described as 5 feet, 9 inches, weighs 230 pounds, has light brown/gray hair. and blue eyes.
On May 31, 1996, Vanderveer pled guilty in the King County Superior Court in Seattle, Wash., to 1 count of rape of a child. YCSO said Vanderveer was sentenced to 14 months in the Washington Department of Corrections-Shelton Unit. The victim was a 15-year-old female who was known to him.
Vanderver is considered a Level 3 sex offender with a high risk to re-offend.
