12 customers still affected by power outage

Arizona Public Service (APS) confirms 12 customers are still without power. APS said power is expected to be restored on Friday at 12:00 p.m.

APS said the power outage was caused by a car striking a pole and fleeing the scene. The crash affected over 200 customers on Thursday.

APS reports the boundary that is still affected by the outage are Solana Drive to Palmcroft Drive and Elm Street to 8th Avenue.

APS states those affected by the outage can receive reimbursements for purchasing up to 40 pounds of bagged ice or 20 pounds of dry ice to help preserve perishables in their refrigerators and freezers. Please send receipts along with your name and address to:
