YUMA, Ariz., (KECY, KYMA) - A flash flood alert has been issued in the Southeastern Imperial County.

It is important to be cautious on the road. Especially, at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall can cause flooding of roads, farmland and other low lying spots during a flash flood.
