Tomorrow will be the warmest day of the week

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- Friday is forecast to be the warmest day of the week before the region kicks off the start of next week with chances of rain.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), A High pressure system across the western states will lead to well above normal temperatures into the weekend with high temperatures in the lower to middle 80's across the lower deserts.

A weak weather system will bring light rain chances on Sunday, but mainly areas east and southeast of Phoenix.

Temperatures into next week look to remain at or above normal readings with much better chances for widespread rain by the middle of the week.
