Car crash blocks off lanes on 8th Street, 14th Avenue

UPDATE - 4:00 p.m.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Fire Department (YFD) released more details on the crash.

At about 10:30 a.m., YFD responded to a crash in the area of 8th Street and 14th Avenue.

They arrived to see a van on its side and its driver trapped inside. YFD says the van crashed into another car, ending up as a rollover.

Two people were taken to Onvida Health, one was in serious condition, according to YFD.

No other injuries were reported.

We arrived on scene and saw an SUV and white car that appeared to be involved in a crash.

The westbound lane on 8th Street is closed with one eastbound lane open.
