UPDATE: Lockdown lifted at Luke AFB after bomb threat

UPDATE - 12:18 P.M.:

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A lockdown has been lifted at Luke Air Force Base some two hours after a bomb threat shut down the facility.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) units responded to the threat around nine this morning. Officials re-opened the base to traffic around 11:30.

Base officials say no explosive device was discovered. They say they will continue to investigate the incident.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) -AN Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team is now responding to a bomb threat at Luke Air Force Base.

Officials placed the base under lockdown upon learning of the threat around nine Friday morning.
