News 11 Weather Authority: Minimal heat decline
June 3rd, 2022
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Our late Spring desert heat has backed off slightly on this Friday.
The Yuma area alone has felt a decline from 103 degrees to 100 degrees in a 24 hour span of daytime highs.
A weak disturbance from the North has given enough influence for this minimal change, and has helped bring wind gusts between 15 to 25 miles per hour in some places.
Expect near normal highs for the upcoming weekend before the mercury begins to go much higher sometime next week.
