News 11 Weather Authority: Minimal thunderstorms

YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - Our thunderstorm chances continue here in the Desert Southwest, even though they were at a minimum on Monday.

High pressure anchored near the 4-corners will continue to scoop in some subtropic moisture, in addition to the high heat that's already in place.

Expect this pattern to continue for at least the rest of the workweek.
