YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Friday will bring sunny and hot temperatures with a high near 116 and lows around 86 degrees overnight.

The rising temperatures will reach their height this weekend when an excessive heat warning will expire on Sunday night at 9 pm, before a cool off next Monday.

Originally, the heat warning was set to expire on Saturday night but has recently shifted an extra 24 hours through Sunday.
