YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - Our surging mercury continues, as Thursday's daytime highs have reached the mid to high 90s.

The strengthening ridge of high pressure will easily elevate our temperatures into the low 100s for Friday and Saturday.

The ridge will start wearing down by the 2nd half of the weekend, lowering our temps back into the 90s for a temporary period of time.
