Agents arrest at least 10 migrants in Imperial County in one day, two with prior convictions

CALEXICO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - U.S. Border Patrol says agents arrested two migrants in the same day during separate incidents and both had previous sexual offense convictions.

On May 31, agents found a group of six migrants at about 5:50 a.m. in the Imperial County Sand Dunes.

A 42-year-old man in the group was found to have a previous sexual offense conviction.

Later that day at about 3:55 p.m., agents arrested four more migrants near the Calexico East Port of Entry,

A 32-year-old man was then found to have a similar previous offense.
