Free Covid test website launching on Wednesday

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - The White House says it will open a federal website for Americans to place orders for free Covid-19 tests starting Wednesday.

Supplies will be limited to four tests per household and will be shipped within seven to 12 days of ordering.

Also, people with private health insurance will be reimbursed for the full cost of buying tests bought from Saturday onward.

President Biden recently announced that he will purchase an additional 500 million at-home tests for distribution.

The federal website to place the orders can be found at covidtest.gov.
