$2 billion suit filed against Travis Scott and Apple

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - A new lawsuit filed in the wake of the Astroworld Festival concert tragedy is seeking $2 billion in damages.

A press release from the Thomas J. Henry law firm says it represents 282 concertgoers in the lawsuit.

It says the plaintiffs are experiencing "extreme pain and suffering, loss of earnings, emotional distress and medical expenses" from the tragedy.

The suit names several defendants, including singer Travis Scott, Apple Music, promoter Live Nation and others.

Ten people died as result of injuries from the chaotic surge of the concert crowd in Houston the night of November 5th.
