Six more cases confirmed in Yuma County

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma County District Health Services (YCDHS) says it has confirmed six more cases of coronavirus. That brings the total number of cases up to 59.

Health officials aren't releasing any personal information on the newest patients.

However, the latest numbers indicate three are women, and four are men. Two are between the ages of 18 and 39. Three are between 40 and 59. One is over 60-years-old.

YCDHS says there are currently 13 people hospitalized with the virus.

Arizona currently has 6,280 cases of coronavirus. The illness has killed 273 people across the state, including one person in Yuma County.
