YPD searches for armed robbery suspect
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) is in search of a suspect who robbed a Chevron Saturday night.
It happened just before 11:00 p.m. when YPD responded to a call from the Chevron at 2092 East 24th Street.
YPD says the suspect entered the Chevron wearing all black clothing and a mask which covered his face.
The suspect, described as a white male, was armed with a knife and stole cigarettes from the store. He then ran from the scene on foot, heading south.
YPD says the suspect is approximately 18-19 years old, and skinny.
