Kansas City Chiefs Lombardi Trophy displayed at State Capitol

JEFFERSON CITY, Misso. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Fans traveled to Jefferson City, Missouri to view the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LVII Lombardi Trophy, displayed at the Missouri State Capitol.

The Chiefs took a trip to the state capitol in Jefferson City. They displayed the 2023 Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Trophy for all to see.

The public viewing of the trophy, which began on Tuesday, was free and open to everyone. Fans of the football champions came in players' numbers to take selfies and photos with the Lombardi Trophy.

The viewing is part of the team's "Chiefs Champion Tour" to celebrate their Super Bowl victory.

A lifelong Chiefs fan, Ayden Jone, said she could feel the energy from the trophy.

"I just think this is a really great experience, you know. I have been with the Chiefs my whole life, watching us host the championships, winning the super bowls and now being able to see the trophy up-close is really exciting, you know. Being able to feel like, part of The Chiefs' kingdom, then able to see this in person, so yeah," Jones expressed.
