Fire at Villa Alameda RV Park heavily damages trailer

No injuries reported and other structures found to be safe

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Fire Department says a fire was reported at Villa Alameda RV Park and there were no injuries.

On late Monday afternoon, firefighters went to the RV park and saw a 5th wheel travel trailer on fire.

The flames were quickly extinguished, although the RV itself was heavily damaged as well as the contents inside.

Other structures around the area were were not reported to be damaged.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and it is unknown if the occupant of the trailer accepted help from the American Red Cross.
