Delays on US 95 in Yuma expected for Oct. 2

Drivers advised to practice caution while on the road

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Department of Transporation (ADT) warn drivers of expected delays on US 95.

Starting Oct. 2, the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground will be conducting military testing, which requires the road to be closed in 30-minute intervals for public safety.

The closure will take place between Aberdeen Road and US 95, between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Traffic will be directed and drivers are advised to practice caution and obey the speed limit.
