Arizona trooper shot, suspect dead in car crash

PHOENIX, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - In Phoenix Monday, a trooper with the Arizona Department of Public Safety was shot and the suspect crashed a vehicle and was pronounced dead.

So far, details about the circumstances of the shooting have not been released and the condition of the trooper is not known.

Aerials of the scene showed a massive police presence where the suspect apparently crashed a car into a brick wall.

Authorities have not released the name of the suspect or cause of death.
