Donald Trump addresses election audit in Arizona, claims “we won”

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - The most closely watched attempt by Republicans to examine the 2020 Presidential election in a battleground states has been the Arizona audit.

While that comes to a close, the efforts are cranking up in other states to try and prove that former President Donald Trump won the election.

The most recent is in Republican-controlled Texas where the Secretary of State's Office announced last week that it would conduct a "full and comprehensive forensic audit" of the 2020 election in four populated counties.

Republicans have sought reviews in Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin which are all battleground states lost by Trump. Auditing efforts have occasionally played out on a smaller, such as in Fulton County in Georgia and individual counties in Pennsylvania and Michigan. Also a state legislative race in New Hampshire.

The former President was in Georgia this weekend where he gave his thoughts on the turnout in Arizona.

"So we got 63-million, he said 'Sir if you go up one more million votes you can't lose. Well we went up 12-million votes and they said we lost. But there never has been.....you know there never has been a concession, you do know that right?," said Trump in front of a crowd of people. "We won on the Arizona forensic audit yesterday at a level you wouldn't believe."

Georgia is the latest stop for Trump who is making his way around several states in his "Save America" campaign.
