Man sentenced 14 months for assaulting a Border Patrol agent
Martin Trinidad-Solano from Mexico was sentenced to more than one year for the assault of a Border Patrol agent
TUCSON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A 25-year-old man was sentenced to 14 months in prison along with one year of supervised release and had previously plead guilty to one count of assault on a federal officer on June 15, 2022.
Martin Trinidad-Solano assaulted a U.S. Border Patrol agent near Douglas, Arizona where agents were alerted of a suspected undocumented noncitizen hiding.
A chase between the agent and the individual occurred.
The Border Patrol agent arrested Trinidad-Solano.
And then the 25-year-old man assaulted the agent.
