Rep. Grijalva announces $3.5M to bring down Arizona’s heating, cooling costs
Lowered costs to help Arizona families
TUCSON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - On April 25, Representative Raúl M. Grijalva (D-AZ) announced over $3,500,000 will be coming to Arizona to help bring down heating and cooling costs.
“As working families in Arizona grapple with rising global energy prices, it is essential that we bring down costs and ensure that Arizonans can keep the lights on,” began Rep. Grijalva.
The money is coming from the government funding legislation and is planned to be used for Arizona's energy bills.
“Thanks to Democrats’ government funding legislation, a fourth round of federal energy assistance is heading to Arizona – helping vulnerable families pay their energy bills, bring down costs and weatherize their homes," continued Rep. Grijalva. "As the Biden Administration delivers these investments to Arizona households, Congressional Democrats remain focused on lowering costs, growing paychecks and creating good-paying union jobs.”
