Cain Velasquez breaks silence, makes statement about attempted murder case

The former heavyweight champion thanks his supporters

(KYMA, KECY) - On Tuesday, April 12, former UFC champion Cain Velasquez broke his silence in an attempted murder case by making a plea to the victims.

Velasquez is thanking those who are showing support and went on to say, "To the true victims of this case, may God give you the strength to come forward."



Cain Velasquez was arrested in February 2022 for attempting to a murder a man who was charged with molesting one of Velasquez's relatives.

Support has since poured in from the MMA community as well as others by using #FreeCain on Twitter.
