Pickup truck drives through a home in Somerton

The Somerton/Cocopah Fire Department responded to the situation at around 1:00 a.m. as the truck drove into the living room of the home

SOMERTON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A pickup truck drove through the front wall of a house in Somerton on Saturday morning, according to the Somerton/Cocopah Fire Department.

The crash happened at around 1:00 a.m. near Yucca Street.

The department says there was a driver and one passenger in the truck, who both refused medical treatment when firefighters arrived.

There was one person inside the home during the crash, along with one dog, thankfully, neither were hurt.

SCFD says the investigation is still ongoing, we will continue to provide details as they become available.
