CRIME ALERT UPDATE: Juveniles arrested in connection with school vandalism
Yuma police say all four suspects are students at the school
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) says it has arrested four juveniles in connection with the burglary and vandalism recently discovered at Ron Watson Middle School.
Officers responded to alarms at the school just after one Friday morning. They say they discovered considerable damage. YPD quickly released details to the public, and asked for help. By Friday evening, officers had four suspects in custody. YPD says all four were 8th graders from the school.
Yuma School District One tells KYMA.com its maintenance and custodial team is working to repair the damage.
