One day after she flew the coop, a Yuma restaurant’s beloved mascot is back where she belongs.
Dewie went missing from Julieanna’s Patio Cafe on Tuesday. Word of the big, brightly-colored parrot’s disappearance spread quickly on social media. In fact, it was one of our top trending stories!
Dewie was found in a tree in a neighbor’s backyard. It appears she might have made friends with that neighbor’s dog. We’re told the dog often escapes his yard and shows up at the restaurant.
In any case, we’re thrilled to report Dewie’s back on her perch on the patio where she belongs!
