Yuma’s libraries Design A Bookmark contest

All of Yuma Union High School District’s libraries are giving students a shot to show off their creative skills in the district’s ” Design A Bookmark ” contest beginning in November.

The contest is hosted by librarians at all five comprehensive schools. Submission open November 4 and the deadline is January 31.

You can find entry forms, including templates, at each library. Once the bookmark is complete they should be submitted to the librarian.

“We are doing this fun activity as a way to support student creativity and expression,” Cibola High School Librarian Amanda Coltman said.

Winners from grade 9-12 will be selected at each school and their bookmarks will be printed and passed out at each of their individual schools.
