Kofa students recognized with grant from Diamondbacks

On May 14, members of the Kofa High School Student Council were awarded the “Game Changer” by The Husband and Wife Law Team and the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.

Members say they plan on using the grant money to start a recycling program on Kofa’s campus.

Kofa is the second Yuma Union High School District school to be awarded the grant. Yuma High School was awarded $5,000 for a benefit concert and art show.
