Vehicle believed to be linked to drive-by shooting located

El Centro police said the vehicle believed to be linked to the drive-by shooting reported Tuesday has been located but the search for the suspects continues.

In a Facebook post Friday, police said detectives located and recovered the vehicle believed to have been involved. Investigators continue to identify the suspect(s) described as having been in the vehicle and responsible for shooting a small-caliber handgun at their intended victims.

One of the occupants was described as a Hispanic man, thin build, in his 20s, and another heavy-set Hispanic man. Authorities are considering the vehicle and occupants armed and dangerous.
