San Luis man may be granted a new trial
On Tuesday, May 7, Raul Tejeda was granted to a new hearing giving his new attorney time to prepare for a hearing on the motion for a new trial.
According to court documents, Julie McDonald who is now representing Tejeda asked for a 60-day continuance explaining she had just received his case last on Friday.

The man charged with aggravated assault and burglary after police say he forced his way into a woman’s home last year has been found guilty of all six charges.
Following a court appearance Friday, Raul Tejeda was found guilty of one count of aggravated assault on law enforcement, one count of kidnapping, one count of trespassing, one count of aggravated assault, one count of unlawful flight, and one count of criminal damage.
Tejeda is expected to be sentenced on February 27.
