Imperial Valley Ag Expo inspires students

Nearly five hundred local high school students attended the Imperial Valley Ag Expo today.

Imperial Valley ROP held a youth agriculture summit at the expo, to inspire students about careers in the agriculture industry.

Students attended workshops and learned all about agriculture opportunities in the valley.

They also had a chance to network with top agriculture business people in the valley.

” A lot of students are looking for internships and we have a lot of programs working with companies. We have so many students coming and we are really trying to build that so when they graduate there’s job opportunities for them, ” said Jodi Rollins, founder of the Imperial Valley Ag Expo.
