Final day of 57th Annual Yuma Air Show
Hundreds gathered to see the military’s best pilots soar through the skies for aerial acrobatics.
It was the last day of the 57th annual Yuma Air Show at the Yuma MCAS.
Event goers had the chance to explore the dozens of aircraft that were on display.
Captain Gabriel Adibe of the United States Marine Corps said an event this large requires all hands on deck.
“To put an event like this together it takes the work of all the Marines, sailors and civilians on this base. And it also takes the support from the city of Yuma, community. We work with law enforcement agencies to help with the traffic controls and just for security purposes,” Adibe said.
The highlight of the airshow was the re-creation of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in World War 2 as a living history lesson.
