Gila Ridge cleans house at the YUHSD Championship tournament
Kofa hosted this year’s Yuma Union High School District Golf Championship tournament where the Gila Ridge Hawks swept the competition.
The best of the best closed the golf season at Mesa del Sol golf club where the Hawks came out on top.
On the girls’ side, back-to-back stellar golfer, Kylee Gerber took the Individual Championship title with a total score of 85.
On the boys’ side, Hawks David Ramirez came in 1st place with an impressive score of 71, also taking the Individual Championship title. Gila Ridge can now boast sweeping the competition at this year’s YUHSD Championship tournament.
