Top 20 safest cities in Arizona, San Luis makes the list
Many people looking for a new home or city to call home want to be aware of the crime rate.
SafeWise.com released a report that details the top 20 safest cities in Arizona.
The website compared the recent FBI Crime Report statistics with population data.
The report analyzed the number of reported violent crimes. This includes murder, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault.
The report also took into account the amount of property crimes, such as arson, burglary, motor vehicle theft, and larceny-theft.
San Luis placed number eight on the list. The report says San Luis is 9.13 percent violent. Buckeye topped the list, SafeWise reported the city is just over three percent violent.
