Attend meetings to be a voice for children in Yuma County

The Yuma Regional Partnership Council is asking the community to share their ideas, thoughts and insights to help with their strategic plan in helping children from birth through age five.

YRPC said that 90 percent of a child’s brain develops by age five.

Together they would like to create a multi-year strategic plan that’s family centered , comprehensive and can help enhance a high-quality early childhood system that supports the development and health for children in Yuma County.

YRPC is inviting the community to participate in these town hall meetings with hopes that the ideas can be a major contribution to their planning.

The town hall meetings will be held on the following days and in the following locations:

East County

Monday, August 20, 2018 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Where: Antioquia Assembly of God Church 10409 Helen Street, Wellton, AZ 85356 South County

South County

Wednesday, August 22, 2018 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Where: Fernando Padilla Community Center 800 E. Juan Sanchez Blvd., San Luis, AZ 85349 Central

Central

Friday, August 24, 2018 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Where: Yuma Main Library, Room B 2951 S. 21st Dr., Yuma, Arizona 8536
