Vice President Mike Pence visiting Imperial County Monday

Vice President Mike Pence is visiting Imperial County Monday. He will be touring the border town of Calexico, according to an administration official.

This is the second time he has visited the border as Vice President. He was at the Texas-Mexico border in February. This time Vice President Pence will be meeting with El Centro Border Patrol officials for a briefing before touring the wall. In the evening, he will travel to Burbank for Protect the House events.

Tuesday, the Vice President will head to Phoenix to give a keynote speech and participate in an event with Governor Doug Ducey.

Although Vice President Pence is visiting Imperial County Monday, he will be heading to California Saturday to spend private time with family. He will also be in Beverly Hills and Malibu with House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, attending fundraising events over the weekend.
