MCAS to open base up to the community

Officials with Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma said Monday that the base will be open to the public in August.

According to Gabriel Adibe, Director of Communication for MCAS, the purpose is to provide an opportunity for the public to interact with the Marines and Sailors on base.

“We love the community,” Adibe said. “We love the support we get and we want that opportunity for the community to interact with the marines more and the sailors.
