Pet Talk: Meet Rico and KJ
In a brand new Pet Talk, we meet Mr. Rico Suave or just Rico as the shelter likes to call him and a German Shepard mix named KJ.
First up is Rico, a one-year-old black cat that was brought to the shelter in June. Rico is easygoing, seems to get along with other cats and enjoys a nice place to lay around. He doesn’t seem to be very high energy for being so young. He’s already neutered and is waiting to meet you.
Next is KJ, a four-year-old German Shepherd mix who was brought to the shelter in May. He’s very loyal and would be great for a single person. He’s not very active, but his previous owners said that he loves to play with toys. He would do best as an inside dog that lays by your side. He is said to do well with other dogs, but no cats. If you do have children, they must be older. He is currently neutered and weighs about 70 pounds.
If you are interested either Rico or KJ, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Sunday.
